- Native Git metadata parsing directly in Swift: reads
.git/HEAD, loose and packed refs, pack files, and the index stat cache — about 10 ms per repository, with nogitsubprocesses. - Automatic detection of uncommitted changes: modified, staged, deleted, conflicted and untracked files, honoring
.gitignore. - Exact ahead/behind counts against the upstream branch, by walking the commit graph. Branches that were never pushed, and upstreams that have gone missing, are called out as such rather than given a number.
- Detached HEAD alerts and commit SHA identification.
- Stale and merged local branch auditing with customizable age thresholds. A branch is only labeled merged when it is provably an ancestor of the default branch.

- License problems are easy to fix: if a key stops validating, the License window says why and offers Try Again, and a key removed from this Mac in the customer portal is re-activated automatically when a slot is free. A brief license-server hiccup cannot mark a paid license as invalid.
